Q. How long have you been in business?
A. Since 1997. I have been a DJ in this market since the
early 80's.
Q. Are you insured and licensed?
A. Yes. State Licensed and $1,000,000.00 liability
coverage. We will be happy to provide you or your venue with a copy.
Q. I have often heard of horror stories
of DJ's ruining an event. How can I safeguard my self from such practice?
A. Good Question. Such stories exists because of two
reasons.
1. Lack of training or no training. Many companies have
little or no training and send out unqualified personnel to work many high
profile events. No state or local agencies require any special license or
education.
2. Overbooking! It is very common for many services to
sub-out work to freelancers as well as other companies during busy periods
which is October thru NYE and February thru Memorial weekend.
You can protect yourself from bad practice by asking
these questions.
Q. Who will be my DJ for my event?
A. You can choose anyone of us and our name will
be on the contract.
Q. Can I meet with my DJ before I
book?
A. Absolutely!! This is the best way to get to
know who your actually hiring. We strongly encourage a personalized
meeting before booking to get a feel for each other. Sometimes
personalities don't match and it's always best to find out before
rather than later.
Q. Do I get to pick my own music?
A. Yes and No! Yes we encourage our clients to
hand pick several songs and provide us with a general idea of
different styles and genres. No we don't recommend you pick out
every song since you can't pre-program a live event. Besides...
that's what you hired us for.
Q. Can you see us perform?
A. Not at a private function designed for someone
else, but you can watch several demo videos we have.
Q. Why do we have testimonials on
our web site?
A. So you can feel confident knowing that your
event will be left to the professionals whose goal is give you what
you set out to accomplish.
Q. Do you do this Full-Time?
A. Yes. Very few Entertainers in this market can
make it Full-Time. It is a tough job to be able to earn a livable
wage and also run a successful business. That's why most do it as a
part-time hobby.
Q. What happens if your equipment
breaks during my event?
A. The laws of average says something will
eventually go wrong. I have had equipment malfunction and I know
everyone else has too. I am blessed to say that I own backup
equipment that is the equivalent to my primary system. I also carry
an extra music library. All of my backup is brought with me to each
event.
